Santa Catalina Beach is located in Central America, specificly in the Province of Veraguas (Soná District), Republic of Panama and its famous waves(suitable for surfing) are part of the Pacific Ocean.

As a matter of fact, Santa Catalina is a village of fishermen who have lived there since its tourist potential as a spot for surfing was discovered by the most experienced surfers worldwide. One of its characteristics is that the waves can reach up 6 meters(20ft) and the rocky bottom can originate spectacularly perfect tubes, though they are usually hovering around 3 meters(10 ft).
